Our story

Centro de Biotecnología y Biomedicina SpA (CBB) was founded in 2012 as a small technology-based company with the vision of transforming scientific knowledge into practical solutions for biotechnology and biomedicine. During its early years, one of the greatest challenges was establishing the infrastructure, equipment, and specialized capabilities required to conduct advanced research and development activities.

Through continuous investment, the provision of scientific and technological services, and the support of innovation programs promoted by CORFO, CBB steadily expanded its capabilities and expertise. Over the years, the company has grown from a small startup into a biotechnology organization with integrated platforms for molecular biology, cell biology, recombinant biomolecule development, and experimental studies in animal models.

Today, CBB combines scientific excellence, technological innovation, and a strong commitment to quality to support academic institutions, research centers, and industry partners in the development of new products, technologies, and solutions for human and animal health.
